Flesh, Blood, & Concrete takes set in snowy Soviet-style apartment towers where grisly hunks of flesh await those who enter. The game is about people with unresolved regrets and unrealized goals.
Players play Lera, a young Siberian woman who unintentionally hits a mysterious residential complex in a snowstorm. After waking up, she meets Nika, a peculiar girl who lives in the building and seems unaware of the outside world. This apartment complex appears to be a living organism, replete with bleeding hunks of flesh, deformed figures, and Lera's distorted memories.
Players will tour the building, interact with artifacts, and read fragmented memories to piece together the plot in Flesh, Blood, & Concrete.
Lera passes through each room, discovering they are identical to her childhood homes. Her dead grandmother's bed and childhood toys haunt her.
She gradually understands that Nika is part of the thing eating the structure. Nika bonds with Lera because she is the only one who doesn't dislike this place. Lera's existence at this apartment complex is not random—she chose to quit real life and descend into oblivion.
Lera must decide whether to accept her fate and stay in this building forever or face the past and move on, even if the road ahead is still painful.
Flesh, Blood, & Concrete is a horror game and a trip inside a fugitive's soul. Regret, forgotten dreams, and how each person handles pain are the themes.
