How to play Backwoods

Backwoods is a first-person survival horror game set in a dark woodland with abandoned structures, scary monsters, and secrets. Every step forward presents new challenges that need to be carefully explored, resources managed, and decisions made quickly.

Live and find out the truth of the odd wilderness. Walk through the whole map, discover items, hints and new locations. Some corridors are locked until you find specific objects that encourage slow investigation.

Unsafe Creatures

The forest isn't empty. Monsters act in strange ways and move around the area. Some attack right away, while others chase players before they attack.
Learn how the enemies move and avoid fights that aren't necessary to save resources for later, tougher fights.
