What begins as a stranded traveler seeking shelter turns into a gothic tragedy. Bitterroot is more about environmental dread than human progress, and you play as a nameless female protagonist. Guests are trapped in a strange maze at the remote estate, which is run by an old demon spirit. Every crumbling hallway and stale living room is a memory of terrible things that have happened in the past, and you are sent to find where the terrible curse came from.
