About Butcher Me Not

Wake Up To Captivity: Meet Butcher Me Not

You wake up tied down in a small, rocking space. Cold restraints keep your arms and legs down, and you cannot move. The real nightmare begins when your eyes adjust to the darkness. Next to you is a muscular man in a skull mask and blood-soaked apron, staring closely at you with a large, bloodied knife in his hand.

The introduction of Butcher Me Not, an episodic visual novel by Arrokoth, is suffocating and thrilling; it gets you in the first second.

Psychological Horror (Extreme)

Butcher Me Not is not about the typical action tropes, but instead succeeds in mood, suspense, and creating a deep, uncomfortable power dynamic.

  • Total Helplessness: The handcuffs quickly reveal to you how helpless you are in front of the threatening butcher.
  • Mature Themes: The story deals with a lot of imprisonment terror, loss of control, and disturbing threats, including cannibalism.
  • Dark Fan-Service: The developer makes clever use of dread and sexualised, character-centric exchanges with the imposing masked captor.

A Special Treat for Call of Duty Fans

Although firmly grounded within psychological horror, the project is, basically, a love letter to the Call of Duty universe.

  • Familiar Faces, New Nightmares: Military-inspired character archetypes are taken and plopped into a whole new story-heavy setting.
  • A Changing Roster: The game is a work in progress. Fan-favorite characters like König, Horangi, and Nikto are under active development for future episodes, providing players plenty of reasons to come back.

Minimal Controls & Broad Accessibility

Butcher Me Not is built with RPG Maker MZ and is intentionally kept basic so you can focus completely on the chilly atmosphere and expressions of the characters.

  • Intuitive Play: Left-click (or tap on Mobile) advances the story; right-click (or two-finger tap) rewinds it.
  • Cross-Platform: Play straight in your web browser or download for Windows, Android, and a Beta version for macOS.
  • Worldwide Delivery: Read the exciting story in English, Vietnamese, Spanish, Korean, and Chinese. An Indonesian localisation is in the works for future updates.
