Buckshot Roulette is a board horror game that tries to change the famous game of Russian Roulette by adding a real 12-gauge pump-action shotgun instead of the revolver.
Each player in Buckshot Roulette gets a character sheet with information about their own background and skills. You have to make it through the nightmare-like trials that come up while also exploring the supernatural horrors that are hiding in the story.
Instead of a regular handgun, there is a strange object called the "Cursed Cylinder." Instead of bullets, players fill the six slots with scary cards that represent supernatural challenges. Every turn, players must decide whether to "pull the trigger," figuratively speaking, by drawing a card, or pass the buck to a fellow survivor.
The tasks get harder, forcing players to face their worst fears and make choices that could either doom them or save them. As partnerships form and fall apart quickly, making decisions together becomes more important than ever. The way the game is designed makes sure that every choice counts and adds to the story as players explore the terrifying depths.
