Chronotopophobia is a scary game that combines cosmic horror with social media. As you play, you fall into darkness after trying to find happiness and connection on social media.
You'll be thrown into an exciting, emotional adventure that doesn't seem to end in seconds. For a short time, the game is over. But you'll still enjoy it.
You can expect a Bitsy game if you've played one before: a simplified, low-res browser game that focuses on exploration and conversation or narration, with environments or sprites that may be hard to figure out. Chronotopophobia is a great example of the form. The backgrounds are black and white, but they are detailed and easy to read, and the music fills in many of the visual gaps in a very interesting way.
As you explore the huge underground, figures speak in poetic, half-coherent monologues. Either you will reach a dead end or you will figure out what the hell you need to do next. Any way you look at it, you'll probably have liked your descent into its worst realm.
