About Just Be Patient

The short psychological horror graphic novel Just Be Patient explores control, dependency, and a doctor-patient relationship that should never be romantic without being incorrect. Intentionally personal, one person has too much knowledge, authority, and interest in your future.

How to play Just Be Patient

Replay-friendly: Multiple endings make a single run feel like one version of the story rather than the whole outline. A rebellious, quiet, or innocuous response can change how the doctor reads you.

For the first run, answer naturally and build tension. Test the edges on later runs: resist harder, agree sooner, modify your tone, or see how a different body type, name, or pronoun configuration affects your scene interaction. This game lets the player choose their identity so terror can reach the mouse-user.

Just Be Patient takes 40–60 minutes per game. Horror visual novels benefit from that length because they may tighten steadily without turning every branch into a campaign. Be prepared to replay and take notes for all endings.

Controls

Just Be Patient begins by clicking the embedded player and waiting for the menu. Visual novel interactivity is mostly click or tap through dialogue, choose responses, check settings, and save before choosing if the build allows. Click once inside the game window if audio or input does not respond.

Long dialogue, menu labels, and choice prompts require space; thus, this game is best on desktop. The page layout is responsive; however, phones make visual novel content harder to read.
