Little Nightmares is a horror puzzle adventure combining exploration, platforming, and stealth in a dark, enigmatic universe. You are Six, a small girl trapped beneath the vast undersea facility called The Maw.
In Little Nightmares, you have to help Six escape from The Maw by avoiding scary inhabitants. Six is little and vulnerable; thus, surviving is a matter of moving carefully, solving puzzles intelligently, and using stealth rather than direct battle.
Along the way you will find yourself in kitchens, pantries, secret corridors and other creepy places. Each location introduces fresh environmental challenges, where you need to move objects around, climb over things, pull levers and find secret paths to progress your escape.
The Maw is filled with many terrifying enemies, each with its own unique behaviours and problems.
In the intervals of danger, there are moments of repose in an old cabin. The cemetery is more dangerous than planned. A scary teacher then enters and makes the players go away quickly. “To survive, you have to run without hesitation. New powers unlock gradually and allow for progression. Sound and graphics keep the mood of terror running through it all.
