Slender: The Eight Pages is a scary game where your goal is to get all eight pages but watch out—Slender Man could be right around the corner.
The player comes with a lamp that needs to be charged and then stored. The player can jog for a short time before they get too tired to keep going. Ten different landmarks can be found in the woods. These include cars, a house, a big tree, rocks, brick walls, a stone pillar, a tunnel, downed trees, and fuel tanks. The area is surrounded by fences, but there are dirt tracks that the player can take to get where they want to go.
As the player moves through the world, they have to find eight notes, or "pages," that are tied to different landmarks. The only controls the player has are to move and turn on and off the torch, pick up a page, and run.
