It’s the story of a theater graduate struggling to find work in a competitive job market. The protagonist is on his way to a job interview and finds a weird traveling circus on the road.

They don’t hire supervisors or do résumé reviews. They meet scary life-size marionettes that move and talk. Even weirder, this meeting seems fated. The wooden actors welcome the protagonist and seem to have spotted them before the door opened.
