Gravity usually has one simple rule in platformers: it pulls you down. But what if the floor suddenly becomes a wall? Topsy Turvy is a brilliant puzzle platformer that turns the typical running and jumping on its head. Our sweet lead finds a strange portal to another planet where the globe is spinning around you and where the safe passage of yesterday becomes the lethal trap of today.

A Puzzle That’ll Twist Your Brain

Your final Topsy Turvy goal is easy: get the hero over spikes and foes to the exit portal. But the real issue is in the implementation.

Shifting Gravity: The map spins as you move forward, drastically changing your sense of direction and physics.
Dynamic Hazards: A spike trap, safely floating above you, can instantly turn into a lethal pit under your feet.
Strategic Movement: It’s not only about having rapid reflexes; it’s about analysing the surroundings as a puzzle and planning three moves ahead.

How to Play

Just simple inputs are all you need to navigate this rotating universe, freeing up your intellect to solve the gravitational problems.

Arrow Keys: Move your character left and right.
Up Arrow: Jump across gaps and over obstacles.
Spacebar: Interact with things or move to the next level when requested.

Tips for Surviving the Shift

If you want to get the last flag without pulling your hair out, you will need to master the revolving maps and adjust the way you look at the screen.

Look before you leap: Never haste. Pause and think about where the platforms and the hazards will be when the screen flips.
Scout the Edges: Walk to ledges slowly. And often, the gravity tricks are on the edges. So check out the waters first before diving in blind.
Embrace the Disorient: The camera rotation can be dizzying at first. Focus on your character and the platform you're standing on, not the entire map at one time.
