Volunteer to the Darkness shows that people will do anything to improve their lives, especially for their loved ones. Your character is Jose, who traveled abroad with his wife Lucia. The couple struggles to adjust but settles in their new house. They still need citizenship, so Jose joins the military to speed things up. Lucia is kidnapped to encourage his military achievement, and he must do everything to save her and their lives.
Shooting games' stories alternate between serious and ridiculous. In the former group, this game has enormous stakes. This means each assignment is stressful and you don't know what's ahead. Everything is risky, and you must finish all chores while surviving. Jose will battle for everything, but you must assist him take calculated risks. If not, life will never return.

Missions should be completed swiftly. The bottom left corner displays your health and the bottom right your ammo. You must restart the mission if your health dips below zero.
Jose will go on his first mission when the story reveals the problem. The instructions for each mission will be provided. Jose must explore when you spawn. You'll face hostile soldiers ordered to shoot on sight. Jose takes damage from shots, but his health regenerates after a few seconds. You start with two weapons, but you can find more by exploring. Remain determined to reach all attractions and complete your quest.
You must watch your surrounds and be ready to fire in Volunteer to the Darkness. Move quickly and quietly through regions with barriers for cover if opponents ambush you. If you're shot offscreen, don't panic; acquire cover and find your targets.
