Welcome to the Ultimate Killing Game, Danganronpa. You and your classmates become pawns in a twisted game of life and death in a high school with no way out. This nightmare is orchestrated by Monokuma, a weird, vicious black-and-white bear. The only way to graduate and escape? Murder a classmate without consequence.
Danganronpa is a survival game that tests intellect, observation, and human nature under pressure with a visual novel storyline and rigorous mystery adventure gameplay.
As you unravel the killer and battle for your life, you’ll go through three horrifying phases:

Danganronpa is more about reacting quickly and interacting rather than clicking through text. Controls vary based on game phases:
Outside the trials, you explore the scary academy in first person. You scan rooms with a moving reticle, click on suspicious items for clues, and interact with fellow students.
Shooting "Truth Bullets": Class Trials make logic fun. In "Nonstop Debates," evidence becomes "Truth Bullets." Shooting down highlighted contradictory words as they fly by you in real time requires physically aiming your crosshairs on the screen and pulling the trigger.
Reflex & Rhythm Mini-games: Trials mix controls. To defeat a terrified suspect or solve a murder conspiracy, you'll play rhythm-based button-mashing games or quick-spelling puzzles.
Danganronpa shines in its constant mistrust. You never know if the person smiling at you is planning your demise. A single neglected detail can destroy your worldview and make you doubt every alliance.
If you like closed-room murder mysteries, psychological thrills, and cornering a liar with proof, Monokuma's academy will be a memorable, edge-of-your-seat experience.
