There is a fan project called Pokémon Infinite Fusion that takes the idea of Pokémon Fusion to a whole new level.
You can join any Pokémon with any other Pokémon in Pokémon Infinite Fusion. You can explore a world in Pokémon Infinite Fusion where trainers and gym leaders from Kanto and Johto will be waiting for you. Make your Pokémon and then join them to make the best team and get all 16 gym badges. From the game menu, you can give your Pokémon a name and even speed up the game if you want it to be more exciting.
