About SCP 173 – Chamber Experiment

SCP 173 -  Chamber Experiment is a first-person horror survival game. Players assume the role of Class-D subjects, finding themselves locked up with the dangerous SCP-173. Their mission is to monitor broken systems and maintain constant eye contact with the creature. The goal is simple yet incredibly tense: stay alive.

How to play SCP 173 – Chamber Experiment

SCP 173 -  Chamber Experiment takes place in a locked containment room during an experiment. You are inside with SCP-173, a statue that stays immobile when looked at. When undetected, even for a second, it advances quickly and kills its target.

That guideline governs every gaming moment. Players must watch the creature and solve other important chamber issues.

And the room will quickly lose stability.

Gameplay

The most crucial rule is to always remember SCP-173.

Players must retain their distance but look at each other. Looking away, blinking at the wrong time, or getting too close allows SCP-173 to attack.

Tension is crucial to the experience. You constantly assess danger and decide when to move and look.

Systems Management

A light generator and ventilation system are essential to the confinement chamber. Player attention is split between SCP-173 and the malfunctioning equipment as the experiment progresses.

When the lights go out, the chamber is pitch black. SCP-173 may move, and the game ends suddenly.

Failure to ventilate is slower but still deadly. Toxic gas fills the chamber, harming the character and making them blink more. Blinking shortens SCP-173's visibility, making survival tougher.

Game Controls

  • Move with WASD.
  • Space: Jump
  • E: Light generator repair
  • V: Fix ventilation.
